Why should teenagers dance?

Teenagers are those who are 10-18 years old and are subject to many changes in their body and need support for their nervous system, because they need increased concentration, good memory and judgment that will help them choose decisions for their future. In this age range, if not all, most are in a state of stress, about whether they will succeed with demanding obligations and examinations, for this great importance is the physical activity and in particular dance, which can offer them many benefits:

  • It reduces stress by affecting
  • the chemistry of the brain (when we dance, large amounts of hormones are produced in the brain, e.g. the hormone of happiness – endorphins)
  • the mood
  • the tension – reducing it
  • blood and oxygen flow to the brain by doubling them
  • the nervous system, which is mainly balanced by movement.

  • increasing flexibility.
